New York City has many homeless people. 61,277 (as of April 2017) to be exact. Can you imagine that? Tens of thousands of people on the streets, some dying of illness or hunger, begging for money. Some have nothing left to live for. They lay out in the cold night while you sleep in your comfortable bed. People ignoring them. Don't ignore them. Help them. They could use anything, from change to gift baskets. So help. Be kind the next time you see a homeless person. You don't know what they have been through.
